Use this dedicated onboarding hub to share everything we need to design, build, or refresh your website. It takes most clients 20–30 minutes to complete—and sets your project up to launch on time and on brand.
Typical timeline: 3–4 weeks from onboarding completion to first design presentation.
We’ve built this process around busy leaders. You provide clarity up front; we turn it into a website that reflects your strategy, not just your style preferences.
Complete the onboarding form below: goals, audience, must-have pages, examples you like, and any constraints or requirements.
Time commitment: ~25 minutes
We review your inputs, map the site architecture, and confirm messaging priorities. You’ll validate we captured your business correctly before we design.
Output: sitemap and key page outlines
We create high-fidelity designs, build them into your chosen platform, and coordinate launch details with your internal team or marketing partners.
Includes: 1–2 rounds of revisions and QA
Not everything below is mandatory, but the more clarity we have, the faster we can move from ideas to a working site that supports your business goals.
Helpful tip: If you don’t have something yet (e.g. final copy), you can upload drafts or leave notes—we’ll help you tighten it.
Don’t worry if something is missing. There’s room in the form to flag open decisions so we can help you work through them.
Timelines may adjust for complex builds, but this is the standard flow we follow with 8 Furlong Consulting clients.
Onboarding submitted
We review your details, confirm scope, and schedule any clarification call if needed.
Site architecture & design concepts
You’ll see the sitemap plus initial design directions for key pages. This is where we calibrate look, feel, and narrative.
Build, QA, and launch support
We develop the site, integrate your tools, test across devices, and coordinate launch logistics with your team.
Use this form to share the details of your business, brand, and website requirements. You can upload files, link to shared folders, and flag any open questions.
Expected time to complete: 20–30 minutes
If you’re unsure about anything in the onboarding form, start with what you know. We can fill in the gaps together.
That’s completely fine. The onboarding form is designed to capture what exists today and what still needs to be created. You can upload drafts, link to documents, or simply describe what you’d like on a given page. We’ll help you prioritize and refine copy as part of the project.
Yes. If you have a partner or partners, we would require this to be completed by each partner. We’ll gather additional input during our project kickoff meeting when we discuss design concepts.
Treat onboarding as a working snapshot of your current thinking, not a final contract for every detail. We expect some evolution as we move through strategy and design. If priorities change, we’ll confirm any scope impacts with you.
There’s a section in the form dedicated to technical and integration details. If you’re uncertain about any part of it, simply mark it as "Need guidance" and we’ll cover it with you. We’re used to navigating legacy tools and complex setups.
If you run into any issues, reach out directly to your 8 Furlong Consulting project lead, John Harden, or send him an email at [email protected]. We’ll make sure your inputs are captured, even if we need to collect them another way.
If you’re currently an 8 Furlong Consulting client and we are building your website or productized service rollout, this onboarding is the starting line.
